Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative and strategic Assistant Manager of Social Media to support our social media efforts. This role will be responsible for content creation, engagement, analytics, and strategy execution across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate is passionate about digital marketing, up-to-date on the latest trends, and skilled in driving audience engagement and brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement.
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across all social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Monitor, listen, and respond to audience interactions while fostering a strong online community.
- Track and analyze key social media metrics to optimize performance and generate reports on campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to ensure cohesive messaging and brand consistency.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to enhance engagement and reach.
- Manage influencer partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations to amplify brand awareness.
- Assist in social media advertising campaigns, including budget management and performance analysis.
- Handle crisis communication and reputation management on social media.
- Perform competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, etc.) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.).
- Experience with graphic design and video editing tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) is a plus.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in paid social media advertising is a plus.
